IA is excited to announce that our Strategy Studio, a vital component of the firm since its founding in 1984, is evolving the practice through a stronger focus on the impact of human behavior on design. A vigorous emphasis on experience-driven services—vital to working with our clients as they navigate through tremendous upheaval and change—is critical to the evolution of IA’s strategy practice.
To lead this reinvigorated studio of professionals across the IA platform, Jordan Jones is appointed Senior Director of Strategy. In his new role of guiding the firm’s global Strategy Studio, Jordan will set the tone for the practice, leading a team of human-centered, divergent thinkers who work creatively, generating compelling ideas and inventive solutions in response to current place-making challenges.
Our goal, as always, is to facilitate a more sustainable and inclusive experience, inspiring meaningful change that harmonizes people and place and, ultimately, helps the world thrive.
“Our firm has a rare opportunity ahead of us, as leaders in a new era of strategic design that is experience-led and human-centered. My goal is always to put people truly at the heart of the experience so that insights and design strategy are developed in a meaningful and engaging way to help the world thrive. The projects that have the most impact are the ones where design and strategy come together, and I am energized to lead the studio into this future, shoulder to shoulder with our incredible team.” - Jordan Jones, IA Interior Architects Senior Director of Strategy
“This new direction represents an evolution and long-standing commitment to IA’s strategy services. Jordan’s fresh perspective and experience-led approach are well aligned with the forward momentum of the firm. We are confident that the firm is well positioned to support our clients and to fully engage the deep bench of creative talent across the firm as we integrate strategy and design more holistically.” - Tom Powers and David Bourke, IA Interior Architects Co-Presidents/-CEOs
