Continuing IA’s strong commitment to the Washington metropolitan area, the firm is pleased to announce that Laura Vierling, MCR, IIDA, LEED AP, Prosci Change Practitioner, has joined our Washington, DC studio as Managing Director. Laura will be assuming the role of managing director from Holly Briggs, FAIA who has led the DC Office for the last eight years. Following a stellar and decorated career at IA and within the interior architecture profession, Holly is transitioning to retirement.

With 30 years of experience, Laura brings a robust understanding of both managing and designing projects for corporate and government clients, as well as strategic portfolio planning. She is a skilled leader and trusted advisor who guides clients to maximize their real estate portfolio while developing strategies that support current and future business goals. Laura and her teams have led workplace transformation for a number of notable clients including the General Services Administration (GSA), Lenovo, Oracle, MetLife, and FDIC, among others.
