IA Completes Troutman Sanders’ Headquarters in Atlanta

Working with Troutman Sanders, one of the oldest law firms in the Southeast US, on multiple nationwide locations simultaneously, IA Interior Architects was instrumental in creating law offices of the future for the firm, beginning with workplace strategy through design, experiential graphics, and construction.

Responding to evolving trends in workplace and law office design, the firm's headquarters relocation to nine consecutive floors within the same building supports greater real estate efficiencies, activity-based work, and staff wellness. Efficient space utilization and flexibility is achieved through universal attorney office and workstation sizes, with paralegals in open plan seating and administrative services centralized at corner resource centers. Staff can gather and recharge at cafés and lounges on each practice floor and the two-floor conference center, connected by a sculptural, interconnecting stair, features expansive views.

This success story demonstrates IA’s strength in numbers as our firmwide team of experts created a stage for Troutman Sanders’ future in Atlanta and nationwide. This transformative space speaks to the law firm’s beliefs in the power of community, diversity, and inclusion through flexible, efficient, and healthy design principles. We are thrilled to have been a part of this journey.
