Flack Global Metals
New Office | 5,000 SF
Chicago, IL
Character and details are not compromised within the efficiency of the small event, trading, and broadcast space: steel construction industry influences are thoughtfully curated throughout.
To better support staff recruitment and the customer experience, Flack Global Metals, a steel construction trading firm, recently relocated to Chicago’s West Loop. Eschewing a traditional office design, the client envisioned a moody, sophisticated design aesthetic. The 5,000-square-foot workplace includes a trading and broadcast area as well as space for hosting events, town halls, and cocktail hours.

Strategic areas are divided into entertainment spaces and support spaces for the team. At the center, the workplace is divided into two zones: client-facing and functional trading. The trading area is arranged bullpen style for better trader interaction and focus on dynamic digital content. It also serves as a backdrop for the custom broadcast desk where the firm’s owner frequently speaks on Fox Business, Bloomberg, and other financial news outlets.
