A newly expanded office blending distinct style with versatility.
Facing rapid growth, HITT partnered with IA to expand its Raleigh office and strategically future-proof its workplace. The design team began by meticulously surveying the current space, keeping sustainability in mind, and preserving as much as possible. From there, IA seamlessly integrated the expansion to harmonize with the existing layout and finishes for a cohesive environment.
The adaptive approach central to this project ensures the workplace will evolve alongside changing client needs over the next decade. The introduction of dual-purpose spaces such as focus and huddle rooms underscores flexibility. These areas are designed to convert into private offices as the need arises, aligning with a conventional office model while accommodating continued growth.
The open office inspires the development of an engaging culture to attract and retain top talent. A variety of spaces provide opportunities for both gathering and respite, including a large conference room with an operable partition, an expansive pantry with full kitchen amenities, and a new gym with shower facilities. Collaboration hubs are strategically positioned to foster easy access without compromising focus work zones.
Exposed detailing and raw materials such as concrete, metal, and wood represent distinct design features highlighting quality and showcasing the company’s diverse range within construction.
