Located in Chicago, IL, this high-end sundries and bodega shop combines the sophisticated allure and understated comfort of a toney boutique with the elegant curves of maritime design. An oasis of refinement, this building amenity seamlessly blends contemporary luxury with timeless elegance.

Inspired by the sleek, flowing lines of yacht design, curved displays and fixtures evoke a sense of fluid motion and effortless grace. Soft, warm lighting enhances the luxurious materials and textures; bespoke fixtures echo the store’s curvilinear theme.

The space projects a serene and inviting atmosphere, achieved through a balanced palette of muted burgundy lacquer (influenced by the adjacent Randolph and Washington Street bridges), and luxurious closed-pore wood paneling.

Two overlapping circles create an open yet intimate layout, with intuitive pathfinding and strategically placed zones that encourage exploration and discovery. Each area showcases different product categories including wine, cheese, olive oil, and flowers, while maintaining a cohesive and elegant flow. There is also an integrated shoe shine station.
