Telling the story of Connection in Motion, this new headquarters for Littelfuse is more than a workplace—it is a recharged, dynamic environment brought to life through integrated interior design, lighting, and experiential elements. Inspired by the synergy of connection, the power of circuitry, and the innate nature of movement, every detail contributes to a cohesive experience. The journey begins the moment you step off the elevator, where a bolt of light illuminates the Littelfuse brand symbol, igniting a visual thread that carries through the space. This linear lighting feature acts as a current, guiding movement and seamlessly connecting each zone.

The need for globally integrated technology for connectivity across the firm was a key driver of the relocation, as well as the intention to strengthen departmental connections within the workspace. Previously siloed departments are now integrated through an open spatial plan that encourages organic encounters and empowers the collaborative spirit of Littelfuse.

Within the two-floor space connected by an open stairway, strategically curved corners at key transition points encourage team members to circulate and discover collaboration zones and design features that reinforce the brand's narrative of interconnected motion.

The introduction of department-based unassigned hoteling workstations as a more flexible and collaborative approach also marks a shift from the company’s previous office layout. The concept of equitable meeting zones ensures a collaboration space is always within reach. With few private offices, many are designed to double as meeting rooms, contributing to the workplace’s adaptability.

Further cultivating collaboration, a central café on the fourth floor hosts informal gatherings. Warm wood tones, a branded ceiling feature, and varying seating heights add to the dynamic and engaging atmosphere. Adjacency to a training room provides for overflow and flexibility.

An experiential design mural composed of real Littelfuse components transforms a training room wall into an educational artifact, linking team members’ areas of expertise to the company’s worldwide influence on industrial technology manufacturing.

Material selections balance warmth and modernity. The design team introduced natural tones and textures, punctuated by nods to the signature Littelfuse green, to create a welcoming environment. High-end finishes were prioritized for key shared areas, such as the café and boardroom.
