In a Tenth of a Second

Science tells us that first impressions are formed in less than a tenth of a second. When positive, they can trigger the halo effect, a cognitive bias that extends positivity to aspects of the perceived entity yet to be observed or experienced.

With that in mind, many enterprises consider the reception experience an opportunity to proactively project their persona and make an impactful first impression.
