IA is pleased to announce a leadership transition in our Austin Studio, with Kendi Sparks, RID, stepping into the Managing Director role. Kendi has been a leader both locally and firmwide for nearly a decade and has been a critical part of the studio’s growth and success. She will succeed Stephanie Long, who will be retiring from the design industry. Stephanie leaves an exemplary legacy of impressive projects and meaningful client partnerships.
Kendi has over 20 years of expertise in the commercial design industry, leading award-winning design teams from start to finish on projects ranging in scale from a small refresh to corporate headquarters over 550,000 SF. Her notable client roster includes collaboration with PayPal, TikTok, Brown Advisory, and Q2, among others. Her ability to lead teams that translate ambitious design ideas into thoughtful, beautifully realized environments has earned her the trust of clients and industry partners alike. This has established Kendi as a valued collaborator known for bringing clarity, creativity, and purpose to every project.
