The redesigned women's shoe department and seasonal and sunglasses sections elevate the shopping experience while preserving the duality of Bloomingdale's aspirational and approachable elegance.
An imaginative deconstruction of the iconic Bloomingdale's double “O” is elegantly displayed at the ceiling as a nod to the retailer’s rich heritage. Understated luxury materials and minimalistic signage with elegant typography add to the sophisticated, yet relaxed ambiance.
The inclusion of Bloomingdale’s signature black band, notably at the ceiling and as a detail on the white high-gloss floors, provides continuity and an eye-catching edge to the neutral palette.
An abstract floral wallcovering by Scalamandre was customized for the project. Overlaid with fluted glass, it adds a local touch, evoking the nostalgia of peach orchards that once flourished in the area.
