Gupta Media

Headquarters Renovation
Boston, MA | 24,000 SF

Gupta Media’s new headquarters is a bold physical expression of its dynamic, in-office creative culture. This renovation moves away from conventional corporate layouts, instead presenting a series of immersive environments that reflect the company’s identity as a media powerhouse.

The design concept, aptly named Refreshed Classic, weaves traditional materials with unexpected elements, creating a layered experience through rich textures, nuanced finishes, and spatial diversity that echoes the rhythm and energy of creative production.

Prioritizing productivity, user experience, and collective culture, the layout embraces dedicated desks, a high ratio of enclosed offices, and a wide variety of spaces to nurture a vibrant, collaborative community.

At the heart of the office is the Piano Lounge, a moody, hospitality-inspired space that nods to the company’s former headquarters, where a piano greeted guests upon entry.

Adjacent to this, the café and town hall occupy a rotunda crowned by a central tree that grows into a sculptural ceiling—blending organic form with architectural precision. This multifunctional area serves as a hub for both all-hands meetings and informal gatherings.

Unique environments such as the “Now Playing” lounge—a hybrid library and golf simulator—and themed conference rooms with subtle references to music festivals and sports, reinforce the firm’s deep connection to the entertainment industry. Custom acoustic panels and dimensional ceiling treatments provide both aesthetic impact and functional performance.

The firm’s visual identity is prominently featured in branded entryway elements, including Gupta’s elephant logo rendered in chamfered forms and bespoke materials—instantly conveying a sense of character, craftsmanship, and legacy.

More than just a workplace, Gupta Media’s headquarters is a curated experience where architecture elevates culture, storytelling, and innovation.
