Located at the vibrant edge of Santana Row in San Jose, the NetApp Customer Experience Center redefines the corporate environment as a hospitality-driven, story-rich destination. Conceptualized as the “NetApp House,” the space invites visitors to take a carefully choreographed and immersive journey that blends residential design with cutting-edge technology and strategic brand storytelling.

Envisioned as a spatial journey, visitors are guided through a sequence of intentionally crafted zones evoking the intimacy of a private residence. From the vestibule entry on, each space unfolds and contributes to an experience of layered technology encouraging dialogue, reflection, and informal collaboration. A pitched roof structure defines the interior architecture, anchoring the concept of home.
At the building’s exterior, a dynamic LED beacon activates the adjacent plaza. This kinetic digital installation is both a local landmark and a touchpoint for the brand’s abstract storytelling, fostering spontaneous social interaction and serving as a visual marker of NetApp’s presence.



Inside, digital media content integrates seamlessly with the architecture, and tactile materials—warm wood, custom tile, and biophilic elements—create a grounded, sensory-rich environment. A sculptural California Cypress tree forges a strong connection to nature and place.
The flexible space evokes a sense of welcome and redefines how technology firms can engage clients through a curated sequence of spatial encounters that reflect authenticity and innovation. The NetApp Customer Experience Center sets a new benchmark for experiential workplace environments—one where brand, architecture, and emotion converge.
