IA recently completed a Customer eXperience Center (CXC) for Nuance Communications, Inc. at the company’s Burlington, MA headquarters. The center serves as a space for immersive virtual and in-person demonstrations of Nuance’s suite of conversational artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, each dedicated to improving customer and patient experiences.
Nuance provides leading conversational AI solutions to transform the way people work, connect, and interact with each other. The CXC was created to provide Nuance customers—which include 77 percent of U.S. hospitals and 85 percent of Fortune 100 companies worldwide—with a center to demo Nuance’s solutions and meet with the company’s conversational AI experts. While employees were working from home during the pandemic, Nuance decided to take advantage of the empty space to finalize the renovations and establish a location for demonstrating the power of its technology suite to customers. Since the project was finalized, the CXC has been used for virtual events and demonstrations and will become a space for in-person meetings, partner, customer, and prospective visits, and demos in the future.The CXC features technology from two of Nuance’s business lines: omni-channel enterprise customer engagement solutions and the healthcare AI and patient experience solutions. Each has its own self-sufficient zone equipped with the technology to demonstrate their respective products to clients. IA reimagined the 12,000 square-foot space, creating an immersive environment and a refreshed lobby to host clients. The design of the space was heavily focused around the robust, integrated technology that serves to showcase Nuance’s innovative capabilities.
