Silverline Center

Amenity Areas
McLean, VA | 6,200 SF

The Silverline Center project aimed to transform an existing commercial space into a cohesive and inviting destination that would help retain current tenants and attract new ones.

With three primary amenity areas—a lounge, bar, and terrace—the design strategy centered on creating a seamless experience across these initially disconnected spaces. An interconnecting stair was added to enhance continuity between ground floor amenities and the level one lounge.

Design interventions were minimal yet impactful. New flooring unifies the aesthetic. Furniture choices were made with flexibility and variety in mind, allowing for adaptable configurations that support both remote work and casual gatherings. The terrace, with distinct zones and cozy nooks, includes a fire pit that enhances the ambiance. A careful incorporation of greenery throughout adds a refreshing natural element.

The bar area received a more architectural focus to create a sense of privacy and exclusivity. Wood screens discreetly separate it from nearby office spaces, and an overhead structure with a mirror-polished finish reflects the surroundings, giving the bar an elevated, self-contained feel. Light wood tones complement existing white finishes in the conference center, ensuring aesthetic continuity throughout the project.

Lighting plays a critical role in defining zones within the lounge, bar, and terrace, enhancing both functionality and ambiance. Overall, Silverline Center is designed as an extension of the workplace, with added amenities that offer tenants a hospitality-inspired experience that blends style, flexibility, and comfort.
