Tecovas

Franklin, TN

Located in the historic 1901 F.W. Truett Bank Building, Tecovas Franklin is built on heritage and designed for connection. The flagship store blends the stately character of early 20th-century financial institutions with the laid-back, lived-in warmth of the modern West that's true to Tecovas’ spirit of radical hospitality.

The design honors what came before. Original fireplaces remain a focal point, casting a quiet sense of comfort throughout the space. The bank vault is preserved as both a showpiece and a nod to the building’s roots. These historic elements are framed by thoughtful detailing: vintage wood paneling, coffered ceilings, and custom wainscotting that lend depth and texture without feeling precious.

At its core, the space is meant to welcome. A standing bar anchors the main floor, offering a casual gathering spot and setting the tone for the rest of the experience. Men’s and women’s apparel rooms, a boot customization area, a signature hat wall, and a VIP room upstairs are arranged to encourage discovery while keeping the space intuitive and approachable. Tecovas stores are a feast for the senses, where the scent of leather meets the taste of a well-stocked whiskey bar—a natural gathering spot in select locations.

Every material was chosen with intention. Warm woods, weathered brass, and blackened steel show up across lighting, fixtures, and furnishings, creating an environment that feels both elevated and grounded. Oversized leather sofas and armchairs invite guests to sit, stay a while, and feel at home—because comfort, like craftsmanship, never goes out of style.
