Tricentis embarked on a transformative journey to craft the ideal workplace at their Austin Headquarters.

Tricentis, in collaboration with JLL and IA Interior Architects, embarked on a transformative journey to craft the ideal workplace at their Austin Headquarters, seamlessly blending their brand ethos, identity, and design principles.

Tasked with outfitting an entire floor, the CEO envisioned the Austin HQ as a bustling nexus for both employees and visitors. Embracing a future-thinking approach, the space is carefully organized into adaptable neighborhoods fostering privacy, collaboration, and specialized training opportunities.

Anticipating the changing needs of a post-COVID hybrid workplace, the design team curated an office environment promoting spatial efficiency without compromising employee flexibility. Grounded in the ethos of locality, the design palette features locally-sourced materials while integrating playful nods to the brand, imbuing the space with a sense of dynamism and comfort that resonates with employees. In addition, a diverse array of meeting spaces, open and closed collaboration areas and a centrally positioned active social hub give employees the freedom to choose optimal work settings.

The design concept was centered around the company's purpose; faster software testing = faster digital transformation. The core idea is that when you speed things up, everything changes. As one moves through the space, their location provides a different moment in movement, allowing one to change their perspective depending on their speed. This notion is captured from the brick logo wall and light feature in the reception, to the carpet and ceiling design in the open offices, down to the acoustical panel design in the meeting rooms.

Experiential design principles are deftly woven into the fabric of the workspace, influencing mood, ambiance, and navigation. The ceiling design not only ensures unobstructed vistas but also orchestrates a symphony of light and reflection elevating the overall spatial experience at Tricentis’ Austin outpost.
