Miami, Florida – February 2016. The executive leadership of IA Interior Architects is pleased to announce the opening of its Miami, Florida office and to introduce the leadership team. The office is located at 2100 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, Suite 1090 in Coral Gables, FL. Marlene Liriano, IIDA, LEED AP ID+C has recently joined the firm as Managing Director. With over 30 years of experience, her primary focus will be on building the office and practice, expanding IA’s national presence into the Miami market.
Prior to joining IA, Marlene served as a Principal and Vice President of HOK’s Miami office, and was a Principal and Interior Design Director at Perkins + Will for twelve years previously. “Miami is a growing and exciting market in and of itself, and our presence here in the gateway to Latin America will also allow us to continue to grow our LATAM client base. I am honored to join IA and am looking forward to working together with my colleagues throughout the firm on interesting and new opportunities.” states Marlene. She has a deep familiarity with the design landscape in Miami, having spent most of her career there, and looks forward to contributing to IA’s growth in the region.
George De La Hoz has joined the Miami office as Technical Director, bringing to the firm over 30 years of professional experience practicing architecture, specializing in architectural interiors and facility management. He has extensive experience in a variety of industries and has applied his expertise to all phases of a project. Also joining the team as a Project Designer is Gisselle Gema Amador, LEED GA. Previously with HOK, her experience includes project work in commercial interiors, health care, aviation, and hospitality. Adam Treiser, AIA, LEED GA has joined the firm as a Job Captain. His portfolio includes work with financial services firms, as well as aviation, healthcare, and education. Denise Paulino has also joined the firm as a junior designer.
